But It’s Rahman

Long time back (not so long J ), I was sitting at my friend’s room and was listening a track of a new movie. Lyrics were not that good (at that time it seemed bad J ) but still I was trying to finish the song. Mean while one of my friend came at the desktop and said what kind of idiotic song I am listening. I told him that it’s a song of new movie,”Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”. He made a who-cares face and I had to tell him that “It’s Rahman”. He joined me right away and we both listened to that song in a pin drop silence.

The track was “Pappu can’t dance sala”

Now when people are talking about the new CWG theme including Sukhwinder, I am just wondering that are they out of their minds? Specially you Sukhwinder :X

One can’t just blame his creation. We are not supposed to forget that he is the man who composed some extraordinary music. He may be not that good in Hindi and could be the reason people didn’t like the song, but still he was in pressure and human mistakes are inevitable(though I have joined the community “Rahman is God” in Orkut :D). People have their own taste e.g. I don’t like the songs of Yuvraj, and currently don’t listen the tracks of Robot much, I like the song ‘O Saya’ more than ‘Jai ho’.

But I still listen the Bombay Theme before bed, I like his voice in “kabhi neem neem kabhi sahad sahad”, I love the starting music of RGB, I like the song “Ye jo desh hai tera” though I haven’t been abroad yet :D, I do listen the track “Vande Matram” even if its not independence day, I love the song “Taxi-Taxi” (Tamil)even I don’t understand a single word of the song (apart from taxi-taxi),I ….the list will go on and on.

And if people think that 5 Crore is too much then Google a little about Kasab.

I want to thank Rahman for giving us some of the best music of the world (remember Roja), and will keep listening to his songs.Good, bad or ugly
